Postpartum Support
As a postpartum doula my main goal is to help you feel supported, empowered, and cared for as you move into new rhythms and roles with your baby at home. I will be a person in your life who is focused on YOU. Your baby has a support team, and you need a web, a scaffold, a cheering section. Support, education, encouragement, and presence are in my scope so that you can be supported enough to do the important work of supporting your baby through the beginning of their life.
Daytime Support
Support can include but is not limited to:
Space to process and integrate your birth and early parenting experience.
Light housework and meal prep (permission to rest!)
Support or adventure time with older siblings.
Infant feeding support.
Newborn care and tips
Investment: $40 an hour. Varied packages, payment plans, and sliding scale available.
Overnight Support
Overnight Support is focused on tending to baby’s sleep and eating needs so that you can get some much-needed rest.
Feeding support: if breast or chest feeding, I will bring baby to you and slip out when feeding is over to tend to their soothing and sleep needs. If pumping, I will organize pump parts and make sure you stay hydrated.
Sleep support: I will manage baby’s sleep based on your family’s comfort and safe sleep practices.
Light tidying/organizational household support based on baby’s needs and being able to be non-disruptive to your sleep.
Depending on baby’s needs I may cat nap in baby’s room. A recliner, floor mat, or couch is appreciated.
Investment: $50 an hour. Varied packages, payment plans, and sliding scale available.
